We organized at our first reunion in Charleston, SC in September of 1989. Thanks to Billy Holt
who placed a notice in the VFW Magazine. Chester Pike was elected President (and did a great job of organizing) and Billy
Holt was elected Vice President. Ann Pike was chosen as Secretary-Treasurer. The following year George DeLozier was elected
Vice President to replace Billy Holt. Chester remained at the helm until family health problems did not permit him to continue. James
Allen was voted to replace Chester and Charley Postel was voted in as Secretary-Treasurer. In 2003 Allen was forced,
due to health problems, to give it up and George DeLozier was chosen as President and remained thru 2007 when Ken Bazar
was elected. At the 2008 reunion in Branson we voted to have a Historian and George DeLozier was elected. For the 1995
reunion in San Diego we joined with USS Marsh (our sister ship in Korea) to increase our numbers. We had 85 who attended. We
have had a reunion each year since 1989 being held at: Charleston, SC, Baltimore, MD, Nashville, TN, Kansas City, MO, Baton
Rouge, LA, Oakland, CA, San Diego, CA, San Antonio, TX, Buffalo, NY, Colorado Springs, CO, Seattle, WA, Gettysburg, PA, Plymouth,
MA, Corpus Christi, TX, Peoria, IL, Concord, CA, Norfolk, VA Branson, MO, Loughlin, NV, and Branson, MO.
